The Future Starts Now!
Get Ready for the General Assembly and Students’ Week 2024

2 June 2024

The Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (FHV) will host the fourth General Assembly (GA) and the RUN-EU Students’ Week (SW) from 2 to 6 September 2024, in Austria.

The General Assembly (GA) is a strategic governing body that acts as a Senate for the Alliance and meets once a year during Students Week.

It is a pivotal forum for Presidents, Rectors, CEOs, Associated Partners, students, and the RUN-EU Executive Management Board.

The key objective is to assess and make decisions on high-level policy matters through comprehensive discussions and testimonials.

The General Assembly, which takes place on Friday morning, 6 September 2024, will be preceded by a week of meetings of all Boards and Councils to reflect on their first year of work.

To spread the spirit of RUN-EU, efforts will be made to improve opportunities for exchanges between students, our member universities, associated partners, regional stakeholders and staff, with a focus on strengthening collaboration between the current eight-member universities, all working together to advance the objectives of RUN-EU and promote regional development.

The ‘Future Starts Now’ stands for all the ideas, plans and goals that will be shaped and worked on – not only during the RUN-EU Students Week and the General Assembly Week but also in the daily work of the Alliance.

The General Assembly is a highly anticipated event on the annual calendar of the entire RUN-EU alliance. At this gathering, we have the opportunity to reflect on and celebrate a number of collective achievements across various areas over the past year.

Registration for the GA Week is now open for the members of the RUN-EU Management Bodies.

More than 130 RUN-EU students will take part in Students Week, and participate in five innovative Short Advanced Programmes (SAP):

The SAP Challenges themes provide students with a multidisciplinary learning environment within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), supporting them with tools to innovate, strengthen the importance of people in the economy and influence the future of society.
