More than 30 mobility experts from the seven RUN-EU universities met at the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (Austria) from 28 to 31 March 2022. After previous online meetings, this was the first opportunity to get to know each other in person and to further deepen the cooperation.

The launch of the European Mobility Innovation Centre (EMIC) was an important achievement for RUN-EU. EMIC will work as a competence centre in the field of mobility innovation, similar to the international services/mobility offices of RUN-EU.

During this two-day international meeting, FHV hosted the RUN-EU Marketplace, where students and staff visited the stands of the RUN-EU universities from Portugal (IPLeiria and IPCA), Ireland (TUS), The Netherlands (NHL Stenden), Finland (HAMK) and Hungary (SZE) and found out what they offer.

The five EMIC teams were able to make good use of their time in Austria to promote further cooperation and establish organisational foundations.

The next face-to-face meeting of all EMIC teams will take place in October at the Polytechnic of Cávado and Ave (IPCA), in the north of Portugal.
