CONFIA 2023 Call for Papers
In a joint event coordinated by the two Portuguese Polytechnics members of RUN-EU: the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave and the Polytechnic of Leiria, the 10th International Conference on Illustration and Animation CONFIA 2023 will take place from 6-7 July in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal.

Between 28 and 30 November, RUN-EU will be present at the 3rd edition of the Unique Summit, at Altice Forum Braga.
The summit, promoted by the international consortium Global StartupCities, brings together startups, investors, and political agents to reflect on the global entrepreneurial ecosystem, through lectures, discussions, and networking in a global ecosystem context, to support startups and new businesses.

RUN-EU PLUS ICARUS 2 Conference 2022
Hosted by the Technological University of the Shannon, the second RUN-EU PLUS Annual International Conference on Applied Research with Business and Society (ICARUS 2), will be held online on 14 December 2022 (10h00-15h00 CET).

Campus of European Universities
On 30 June 2022, RUN-EU participated in the Campus of European Universities, organised by the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union (FPEU) at the Palais des Congrès in Versailles (France). RUN-EU was represented by Rui Pedrosa, the President of the Polytechnic of Leiria, Nuno Rodrigues, Coordinator of RUN-EU and Vice-President of Polytechnic of Leiria, Daniela Marques, RUN-EU Student Advisory Board chairperson from the Polytechnic of Leiria, Paula Tavares, Vice-President of IPCA, and João Vilaça, Pro-President of IPCA.
RUN-EU attended the EURASHE 31st Annual Conference
RUN-EU attended the 31st Annual Conference ‘Next Generation PHE: Skills relevance, Inclusion, Digitalisation, Innovation’, organised by EURASHE (European Association of Institutions in Higher Education), which took place on 23 and 24 May 2022 in Brussels. Prof Ana Sargento, Vice-President of the Polytechnic of Leiria, represented RUN-EU at the conference and took part in the panel discussion ‘Alliances within the European Education Area – European Universities: Coordination, Opportunities, and Challenges’.
