SHORT ADVANCED PROGRAMME
The Power of the Dutch Social and Health System
27 January 2023
The traditional model of care is transitioning from an acute hospital-based model to a socially driven well-being model.
Besides the necessary attention to illness or health problems, care should focus on creating preconditions for total well-being.
And that is what these times call for as well: a completely holistic approach to human beings with particular attention to their deeper needs.
This requires health and well-being faculties to deliver nurse and well-being education programmes across Europe to include the social needs of people utilising health and social care services in the modern era.
The RUN-EU Short Advanced Programme (SAP) The Power of the Dutch Social and Health System, is jointly organised by the NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences (NHL Stenden), the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) and the Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK), and will help prepare students for that future.
