SHORT ADVANCED PROGRAMME
Service Learning Programme for Lecturers
16 July 2024
The Short Advanced Programme (SAP) ‘Service Learning Programme for Lecturers’ is jointly coordinated by the University of Burgos (UBU), the NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences, the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences, and the Technological University of the Shannon.
This SAP aims to enable lecturers to implement service-learning methods in undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Participants will be involved in tasks that promote the development of service-learning practices within their institutions.
This includes defining the pedagogical aspects, collaborating with other RUN-EU members detailing the services to be provided and managing the project.
In addition, part of the course will prepare participants for future work within their institutions, such as mapping NGOs and designing pilot experiences.
As a result of this training, all RUN-EU partners are expected to institutionalise service-learning and offer this valuable learning opportunity to their students.
