SHORT ADVANCED PROGRAMME

Smart Everything 3rd edition

22 February 2024

Smart Everything is a RUN-EU Short Advanced Programme (SAP) jointly coordinated by the Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK) and the Polytechnic University of Cávado and Ave (IPCA).

This SAP provides an introductory overview of how to apply the latest technological advances, including visual programming, AI, IoT and AR, in real-world environments.

With a curriculum tailored to the needs of industry across a range of sectors, students will gain insight into how these innovations are driving digital development, responsive devices, automation and optimisation across a range of areas.

Students will learn to integrate these insights from a cross-disciplinary perspective, enriching both their academic and professional journeys and bridging the gap between technology and business.

The programme also facilitates vital collaboration between IT specialists and marketers, revolutionising traditional approaches to design, development and customer relationships into a more collaborative process.

By embracing co-creation, participants will unlock the potential to create value, improve customer experiences and innovate products that effectively address real-world challenges.

The programme includes one mobility week in Portugal, and online periods for teamwork activities.
