Design for a Good Digital Life

Included in the cycle of events LiDA Talks, the ‘Design For a Good Digital Life’ talk will be held by the Laboratory in Design and Arts (LiDA), on 30 May at the School of Arts and Design Caldas Da Rainha (ESAD.CR), Portugal.
Satu Jumisko-Pyykkö, Principal Research Scientist from the Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK), will present a talk on design strategies for fostering a social connection with new smart textiles at the upcoming RUN-EU event.
Moderated by Sandra Neves, researcher and Vice Director of LiDA, this event will explore the potential of smart textiles to enhance social interactions and enrich our daily lives. Jumisko-Pyykkö’s expertise in systems intelligence tactics in design thinking will provide valuable insights into the intersection of design and technology.
Attendees will have the opportunity to network and engage in discussions during a coffee break following the talk.
This event, hosted by the RUN-EU community at the Polytechnic of Leiria, offers professionals and students a valuable chance to explore the rapidly evolving field of smart textiles and their role in shaping the future of design for social connection.
