SHORT ADVANCED PROGRAMME

Go for a Digital Product

14 February 2022

‘Go for a Digital Product’ is a RUN-EU Short Advanced Programme (SAP) jointly coordinated by the Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK) and the Polytechnic of Cávado and Ave (IPCA).

This SAP brings together engineering and design students to work on a design challenge that aims to build a digital product that will improve people’s lives and physical health.

Students will learn how to apply design thinking in digital product development and how to run an innovation process in an international multidisciplinary team. They will explore the possibilities of digital technology to advance students’ physical health, explore the technological tools used in this design challenge and discover the critical elements in the nexus of technology and design.

The programme includes two mobility weeks (one in Finland and another in Portugal) and online periods for teamwork activities.
