Opportunities for Staff
RUN-EU mobility is not only for students. Teachers, researchers, and administrative staff can actively engage in international teaching, training, and collaboration opportunities across the alliance.
These opportunities support professional development, strengthen international cooperation, and foster innovation in teaching and research. All RUN-EU mobility opportunities that include a physical stay abroad are supported by funding schemes either through Erasmus+ or RUN-EU directly.
Teaching and lecturing

Collaborate with colleagues across the RUN-EU network to develop or contribute to international learning opportunities and joint educational initiatives.
Your mobility could either be funded by RUN-EU directly or entail an Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Teaching (STA).
For RUN-EU Learning Opportunities, please get in touch with your institutional EDUHUB contact.
For Erasmus+ STA, contact your International Office.
Participating and learning

You can participate in staff weeks, workshops, and training programmes designed specifically for RUN-EU staff.

Check out the Pedagogical Development page for more info and get in contact with your institutional FAPSA to learn about how to participate in the offered programmes.
Research & Collaboration

It is also possible to participate in RUN-EU research events, e.g. the ICARUS Conference or Innovation meets regions.
Check out the RUN-EU Research activities and the Cloud of Knowledge, and contact the International Office of your home institution to find out how you can get involved.

Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), which are offered asynchronously and can be completed in your own time, are offered for different topics like AI, digital literacy, etc.
Staff Council

The RUN-EU Staff Council is one of the three advisory bodies within the governance structure of RUN-EU (alongside the Student Council and the Associated Partner Advisory Board). Its role is to gather the concerns of local staff and promote exchange at the institutional level.
If you are interested in getting involved with the staff council, please contact the RUN-EU office of your institution.
Get inspired by RUN-EU staff mobility
RUN-EU staff mobility offers you the chance to connect with colleagues from across the alliance, exchange ideas, and gain new perspectives on your work. Whether you are involved in teaching, research, administration, or student support, there are different ways to benefit from international collaboration.
Staff mobility can help you develop professionally, strengthen your international network, and bring new ideas back to your home institution. It is also a valuable opportunity to learn from colleagues, explore different working environments, and contribute to cooperation across RUN-EU. You could, for instance, attend a workshop for pedagogical development, join a RUN-EU research group, or participate in a learning opportunity yourself.
Many staff mobility activities can be supported through Erasmus+ or RUN-EU funding schemes. Your home institution’s RUN-EU office or International Office can advise you on suitable opportunities, funding options, application steps, and approval requirements.
