BLENDED INTENSIVE PROGRAMME
Innovative Teacher in Wonderland: Redefining the Teacher’s Role and the Future Pedagogy
18 March 2025
The Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) ‘Innovative Teacher in Wonderland: Redefining the Teacher’s Role and the Future Pedagogy’, is jointly coordinated by the Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK), the Polytechnic University of Leiria (IPLeiria), and the NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences (NHL Stenden).
Education is undergoing a transformation—learning methods have evolved, and students’ perspectives and needs are changing. This week encourages teacher students to design innovative workshops that inspire their peers to rethink teaching, embrace bold pedagogical solutions, and break away from traditional mindsets.
The goal is to challenge participants to reflect on the future of teaching without preconceptions:
- What will the role of the teacher be in enabling learning?
- How can teachers understand and connect with students growing up in an ever-changing world?
- While learning evolves, educators often hold onto conventional ideas about teaching.
This week provides a space to question, experiment, and co-create ideas for the future of education.
