EPA Mission on Health, Well-being and Technology at Howest: a Collaborative Success
28 December 2024
We are thrilled to share the highlights of the recent EPA mission hosted at the Howest University of Applied Sciences, Belgium, where 26 participants from various RUN-EU member universities came together for an enriching experience.
The primary goal of this mission was to foster collaboration and innovation, ultimately leading to the creation of impactful short learning opportunities in the area of well-being, health, and sports with a touch of technology.
The first day of the mission was held at the Sport Innovation Campus (SIC), where we explored innovative sports that integrate cutting-edge technology. This unique experience showcased the potential of technology in sports and inspired new ideas for future projects.
The mission yielded nice results, with participants engaging in a series of workshops and activities designed to enhance their skills and knowledge. One of the standout sessions was the ABC workshop, where attendees created learning dashboards for SAPs, MOOCs, COILs, and more. The feedback was positive, with many people enthusiastic about the practical insights and hands-on approach.
In addition to the productive sessions, participants enjoyed a cultural excursion in Bruges, where they experienced the charm of the city from the water during a delightful boat tour. This outing provided a perfect balance of work and leisure, allowing everyone to connect on a personal level.
We are hopeful that the connections made and the knowledge gained during this mission will lead to the development of valuable short-learning opportunities, benefiting both participants and their respective institutions. Here’s to more successful collaborations and continued growth within the RUN EU network!
