RUN-EMIC Launches its Mobility Promotion Programme

27 September 2024

RUN-EU’s European Mobility Innovation Centre (RUN-EMIC) has launched the RUN-EU Mobility Promotion Programme. This programme focuses on the intensified promotion of all kinds of existing and innovative RUN-EU mobilities.

The promotion of existing mobility opportunities is complimented by a special focus being placed on the promotion of the Cycle 2 innovative mobility initiatives, namely the RUN-EU Virtual Mobility Programme and the RUN-EU Journey. As part of this effort, the RUN-EU website has been updated to include a calendar of events for the upcoming semester to provide an overview of all existing mobility opportunities within RUN-EU.

This Mobility Promotion Programme is one of the three RUN-EU EMIC Support Programmes and, together with the EU Values Awareness Programme, and the RUN-EU Ambassador Programme, enables students, researchers, and staff to benefit from seamless mobility opportunities to study, train, teach, do research, work, or share services in any of the member institutions promoting shared European values and a stronger European identity. It is our continuing ambition that students and staff at all levels are empowered to tailor their flexible curricula, choosing where and what to study and work between the different higher education institutions and other members of the alliance.

Promotional materials (Leaflet and Poster) are now ready and available for download as PDFs:

The materials will also be distributed to the mobility/international offices of the Alliance partners and on social media.

To support the launch of this programme, student- and staff-friendly information and promotional materials have been and will continue to be developed including digital leaflets, infographics, videos, and sustainable forms of merchandise.

The RUN-EU Shared Systems team is currently designing and developing an online portal that will centralise and present all mobility opportunities for students and staff. The EMIC team is working closely with them to define the features and structure of the portal to ensure that it becomes a key component of RUN-EU’s future integrated digital system.

This Mobility Promotion Programme was developed by WP5 (RUN-European Mobility and Innovation Centre RUN-EMIC) of the RUN-EU 2.0 project, with the NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences, the Netherlands, as work package leader and the Polytechnic University of Cávado and Ave, Portugal as co-leader.
