RUN-EU PLUS is organising an online workshop on Introduction to University-Industry Collaboration on Regional Resilience on 23 April 2024.

This workshop focuses on the main structural elements of the Innovation Ecosystems in various countries with the different roles of Higher Education Institutions and local firms.

An insight into the Portugal and Hungarian specifications. Participants of the workshops will share their interpretations and contexts.

• How would you characterise the regional innovation ecosystem in your region?
• How would you characterise the role of university-industry-society cooperation in your region?
• From the perspective of your university/company, can you define mechanisms to improve university-industry-society cooperation?

Learning outcomes:

• Understand the key elements of innovation ecosystems around the world.
• Insight into the experiences of Portugal and Hungary.
• Opportunity to share own insights and experiences.

It is open to early to mid-stage researchers (undergraduates, postgraduates, lecturers and staff), particularly those interested in social innovation issues with a particular focus on university-industry collaboration.

It will be hosted online in MS Teams.
