From 6 to 9 May, the city of Leiria, in Portugal, will come alive with vibrant festivities as Europe Day is celebrated, and RUN-EU will be actively participating!

The event will feature a wide array of engaging activities, including workshops, concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions, games, sports, environmental initiatives, manual activities, and much more!

These cultural activities, suitable for all ages, will start on 6 May and end on 9 May, when the anniversary of the Schuman Declaration will be commemorated, reaffirming the commitment to the values and priorities of the European Union.

The programme is being organised by the Representation of the European Commission in Portugal, the Parlamento Europeu Gabinete em Portugal, and the Município de Leiria, with media partnerships from RTP and RTP Europa.

Furthermore, the RUN-EU member, Polytechnic of Leiria, is actively collaborating to make this event a resounding success.
