The Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (FHV) Managing Director Stefan Fitz-Rankl and Carlos Rabadão, President of the Polytechnic of Leiria signed the agreement for the Double Degree Programme at the Häme University of Applied Sciences in Finland (HAMK).

Starting in the next academic year 2023/24, students from both universities will be able to enrol in the programme and complete two degrees in parallel: Master in Mechatronics at FHV, in Austria, and Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Politécnico de Leiria, Portugal.

These collaborations give students the chance to earn two academic degrees at two universities in parallel. To do so, the required ECTS credits must be earned in two semesters at the host university.

This is the fourth RUN-EU contract for a double degree programme. Further transnational study programmes will be announced very soon.
