Professional experience
Previously, he worked as a dean, developing director and vice-rector in two Finnish universities of applied sciences. He has also been a researcher and university lecturer in two Finnish universities.
Research experience
Soil ecology and ecotoxicology; sustainable development: Leading research projects, postdoc in VU Amsterdam, planning and steering group working EU projects, nine years as vice-rector for Research, Development and Innovation.
Supervision experience
Numerous supervised master’s and bachelor’s thesis since 1993. I have participated PhD training as a second supervisor.
