RUN-EU wins Bronze in Alliance of the Year at the Triple E Awards 2025

16 September 2025

RUN-EU has been awarded the Bronze Triple E Award 2025, in the Alliance of the Year category at the ACEEU Forum in Prague. This global flagship event brings together higher education leaders, experts, and innovators from around the world.

Shortlisted in June, RUN-EU was recognised for its strong commitment to creating an environment where students, academic staff, and researchers are actively supported in pursuing their entrepreneurial ambitions. The award was decided by a jury of peers appointed by the Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities (ACEEU).

The Triple E Awards are the first global recognition dedicated to the “third mission” of universities – entrepreneurship and community engagement. Implemented regionally, they celebrate institutions and alliances that drive innovation, impact, and positive change within their communities and ecosystems.

RUN-EU’s Bronze award highlights the alliance’s mission to foster collaboration, empower its members, and champion innovation across Europe’s higher education landscape.

The ACEEU – the only globally-operating quality assurance body with a focus on engagement and entrepreneurship in higher education – leads the way in evaluating and igniting the potential of Higher Education Institutions worldwide. Through its Triple E Awards, it highlights transformative initiatives that shape the future of universities as entrepreneurial and socially engaged institutions.

This international recognition demonstrates RUN-EU’s growing impact in advancing entrepreneurial education and collaboration, and its role as a leading European alliance dedicated to preparing the next generation of innovators and engaged citizens.

RUN-EU was proudly represented at the ceremony by Vic Vansevenant, who accepted the award on behalf of the alliance.

‘Last night I had the distinct honour of receiving the Bronze Triple E Award by ACEEU, recognising our efforts in entrepreneurial development with RUN – European University and RUN InnoBoost,’ said Vic Vansevenant.
