The first ever Learning Exchange School (LEXS) ‘Integrating Ride-Sharing for the Journey to Work: A Playful Approach’, is taking place at the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (FHV).
Do you want to innovate a complex mobility ecosystem in the heart of Europe? Do you want to use clever methods from gamification approaches to revolutionise how employees can playfully make their daily trips more sustainable?
If so, participate in our one-week Summer School at FHV in the Austrian Alps, where creative solutions for ride-sharing and playful gamification will meet collaboration and creativity.
In a creathon-inspired format, you will learn how to design pioneering solutions for sustainable mobility.

This Summer School explores ride-sharing for commutes via gamification, building skills in designing products, services & IT solutions for sustainable mobility.

To be defined by each higher education institution. Generally, most students will have this Summer School certified in their Diploma Supplement as a minimal condition.
Eligible participants
RUN-EU students in at least the 3rd year of a BA degree, MA students from the 1st year onwards, researchers and academic staff.

Learning outcomes
By the end of this Short Advanced Programme, students will be able to:
- Strengthen teamwork and communication while co-developing impactful solutions.
- Use gamification strategies to encourage sustainable behaviour, specifically for workplace mobility.
- Design innovative, gamified ride-sharing concepts, applying creativity to real-world sustainability challenges.
- Gain hands-on experience in various prototyping techniques and design methodologies, including Design Thinking.
- Pitch ideas to companies, investors as well as mobility service providers in order to address modern economical and technical needs.

Selection criteria
Order of submission, wide representation of fields of study and balanced participation of RUN-EU member institutions.
Maximum Number of Learners to be selected: 25.
Scholarships
The selected students will receive travel grants based on the travel distance and the subsistence costs in the country the SAP is offered in:
