BLENDED INTENSIVE PROGRAMME

50+10 Cocreation Challenges: Finance and SDG Application

19 March 2025

The Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) ’50+10 Cocreation Challenges: Finance and SDG Application’, is jointly coordinated by the University of Burgos (UBU), the Polytechnic University of Cávado and Ave (IPCA), and the NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences (NHL Stenden).

Transitioning to a sustainable and inclusive economy requires innovative approaches to align financial objectives with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This BIP fosters a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment where students, academics, and professionals from the financial sector work together to create sustainable solutions for real-world challenges.

In the first phase, students will explore, understand, and plan; in the second phase, they will develop practical solutions with and for the real world; and in the third phase, they will refine and present their proposals in response to the challenge.

The outcomes of this BIP directly impact participants’ education and enhance their relevance in the financial job market. The transition to a sustainable economy demands professionals who can integrate ESG criteria and align financial strategies with the SDGs. As demand for experts in sustainable finance and innovation continues to rise, the BIP’s results ensure participants are equipped to lead the transformation of the financial sector.
