Smart Sustainable Manufacturing at UBU

The EPA Mission ‘Smart Sustainable Manufacturing at UBU’ is hosted by the University of Burgos (UBU), from 8 to 11 April.
If you are a lecturer, researcher, or student from a RUN-EU partner institution and are passionate about smart and sustainable manufacturing, this is your opportunity to contribute to the development of new training opportunities. These will focus on learning outcomes that equip participants to tackle current and future industry challenges.
During four intensive days of in-person collaboration, we will work in multidisciplinary teams to address key challenges such as:
- Eco-efficient product and process design.
- Optimisation using AI, IoT, robotics, and remote maintenance.
- Smart energy management and real-time monitoring.
- Supply chain improvement and regulatory compliance.

The event will begin at 9h00 AM (CET) on 8 April and conclude at 1h00 PM (CET) on 11 April.
Location
Fully face-to-face event at UBU in Burgos, Spain.
Target groups
- Professors in industrial engineering, manufacturing technologies, sustainability, and circular economy.
- Researchers with experience in automation, AI, sustainable design, and technology transfer.
- Master’s (final-year) and PhD students with advanced knowledge in engineering, environmental management, or business innovation.
- Other similar profiles.
