RUN-EU Innovation Day at IPCA
Social Innovation in Educational Context
7 November 2024
The Polytechnic University of Cávado and Ave (IPCA) will host a RUN-EU Innovation Day on 14 November 2024 in Barcelos, Portugal.
The event will be held at the Barcelos Municipal Library Auditorium, with the main feature being a roundtable discussion on ‘Social Innovation in an Educational Context’. This roundtable will bring together representatives from academia, local government, organisations focused on entrepreneurship and social innovation, schools, and entities in the social sector. The aim is to foster discussion around social innovation in education, exploring recent trends, best practices, challenges, and opportunities, as well as the benefits of collaboration across sectors for implementing innovative projects in this field.
During the event, IPCA will also officially launch IPCA FILS – Future Innovators Lab, an initiative developed in partnership with the Barcelos City Council and integrated into the RUN-EU European Alliance.
The event will conclude with an informal networking session, allowing different participants (teachers, school leaders, researchers, students, representatives from social organisations, entrepreneurs, and others with an interest in the topic) to share ideas and establish connections for future initiatives and projects.
